A custom Pink Lady® 1 Kg apples bag design was the first independently packaged product for the brand in the South African market, launching in local retailer Checkers for the 2018 season. The strategy was to create instant brand recall with the strong colour use and bold emphasis on the updated logo artwork.
The new art direction for the local market, including a "grown with love" brand device, was applied to new recipe card templates, banners, tasting stands and promotional bags. Print advertisement templates were developed with a new layout grid and colour palette to complement the updated international Pink Lady® branding.
